What do you need up front?

Half the total before I start, and it isn't refundable. Over $2,000 that drops to 40%, and over $5,000 to 30% — bigger projects tie up more of my calendar, so the deposit does less work. The balance is due at handover.

Question 2

I'm not in Pakistan. How do I actually pay you?

Wise, Remitly, Xoom or a direct SWIFT transfer, whichever is cheapest where you are. I invoice in USD and I'll tell you which one costs you least rather than which is easiest for me.

Question 3

What counts as a revision, and what counts as new work?

A revision is changing something we already agreed — colour, weight, spacing, a word. New work is anything that adds a deliverable or reverses a decision we signed off. I'll say which one I think it is before doing it, and if it's the second one you get a number first.

Question 4

What if the timeline slips?

If it's my end — I'm ill, something takes longer than I thought — you hear it the day I know, with a new date, not a week later. If it's your end, waiting on copy or approvals, the clock pauses rather than the scope shrinking.

When are you actually around?

Karachi time, so roughly nine hours ahead of New York and four ahead of London. Same-day replies most days, 48 hours at the outside. Pick iMessage, WhatsApp or email on day one and we stay there.

You only show one direction. What if I don't like it?

Then we talk about why, and I take it back. The one direction comes out of discovery and three moodboards you already approved, so a total miss is rare — but the revision rounds exist precisely for that, and I'd rather fix the right idea than have you pick the least wrong of three.
